A day or two ago, we found a bar to take a break. (For the feet and for a bathroom and to get out of the heat.). We were hot and sweaty. It’s been humid and sunny lately and not a lot of breeze. A little warmer than usual for Galicia. It might not have yet even been in the 70s by then but we were needing to cool off. A cup of hot coffee didn’t appeal to me so … I ordered a coke. My first on this Camino. It was perfect. Holly, you were there with me!
What’s with Charlie’s open-finger gloves?
REI sun gloves. With my (former) red-head skin I need to be careful. I wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, big floppy hat, and sun gloves. That is why we tend to go in the spring and like it when it is cloudy and cool.
I knew about your sensitive skin condition. I just thought that all pilgrims wore a big floppy hat ;-).
Yeah D- I’m there with you- Coca-Cola or no Coca-Cola, either way! They were particularly refreshing on the Camino during the hot time of day. H ❤️
