Camino Redux

Yes, we’re doing it again, and this is our first post. It still has that “new blog” smell.

We are going back to the Mother Road, not Route 66 but the French Way across northern Spain. (The blue route on the above map.) We are starting in France, in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (foot of the pass, France has a few Saint Jean’s) and going about half way (250 miles) to Sahagun (where we started our Camino a few years ago).

Way back in 2013 and 2014 our first two Caminos were along this route. But we have never crossed the Pyrenees from France.

The “GMap of the route” menu item brings up a google map with our path on it and markers where we will stop.

The “All Spanish Caminos” menu item has maps of all the Caminos in Spain, including one in the subway map style.

The “Our Other Caminos” menu item has links to blogs from our other Caminos. We have walked on all of these except for the Via de la Plata.

The “Blog Use” menu item has some information about how to use the blog. If you are viewing on a laptop or desktop you can click on a photo to see a larger version. They have a lot of detail.
