Crossing the water

Usually there are stones of varying size and stability. These concrete blocks were very stable but spaced so that we had to be careful going across.

I crossed first and took this photo of Wynette. The wife of the guy in the background crossed first and was going to photograph him going across.

The Australian couple we had been walking with for a while

  1. Hi Charlie and Wynette, I’m just back home from 3 weeks in Morocco and seeing your blog. Morocco was amazing. The scenery the towns, the medinas, and the people. We really saw a non tourist version of the country, going into little villages and even having tea in the tent of a nomad family. I’m still interested in new adventures and new experiences so I’m not in the same region repeatedly. I know your style of travel is very different and I can see the value of doing it that way. You get to know a place more deeply and can see the changes or not changes that occur. Different strokes for different folks.
I like the picture of the bar sign. It seems that the 3rd bar was the charm. Have fun and I hope you’re feeling better by now.
